Pittsburgh Steelers

Based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Pittsburgh Steelers are one of America’s top professional football teams. Currently, they are a member of the Northern Division of the American Football Conference which is within the National Football League, or NFL. The team was founded in 1933 and since that time has gone on to win more Super Bowl titles than any other NFC or AFC team, as well as winning more AFC Championship games and hosting more conference championship games. The team is also currently tied with the Dallas Cowboys, having 14 championship game appearances in either the AFC or NFC contests.

The majority of their Super Bowl titles were won in the 70’s, and this has created somewhat of a dynasty that still holds the record for the most Super Bowl titles. However, this 5th oldest franchise of the NFL continues to win even today, as demonstrated in the 2009 Super Bowl.
